This was reinforced by Germany's decision to form the Triple Alliance. Under the terms of this military alliance, Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy agreed to support each other if attacked by France or Russia. In 1907 Russia joined Britain and France to form the Triple Entente. In 1914 the Russian army was the largest army in the world. Russia was looking to gain respect from other European nations.
I really miss my family and can't wait to see them, they mean the world to me and I really don't want to loose them or anything to happen to me in this war because they need me and i'm willing to do whatever it takes to get home and be with them.
Were are also fighting in this war because some countries want equal rights and some countries want to better then other countries and we don't think its fair so were here fighting for what we think is fair.
I have met a lot of very nice people in this war that have stuck by me and helped me out a lot but its really hard when you loose someone really close to you because I watched my best friend die here and I couldn't stand it, I just wanted to give up but I thought about how bad my country needs me and I thought about my family and just kept going. War is not fun at all, there's death all around and it makes you just want to give up but I will keep going to show how brave I am and how much courage I have.
When I leave here and the war is all over and i get to go home to my family, I will be proud to say that I fought for my country and everyone in it.
